Jesus told a story about two men who built houses. One man was wise, and the other was foolish.

The wise man built his house on solid rock. When the rain poured and the wind blew, the house stayed strong.

The foolish man built his house on sand. When the storm came, the house fell down with a great crash.

Jesus said that people who listen to His words and obey them are like the wise builder. Those who ignore His words are like the foolish builder.
