Jesus Walks on Water

Matthew 14:22–33 (Junior Version)

Jesus Walks on Water

After feeding a huge crowd, Jesus told His disciples to sail across the lake while He went up a mountain to pray.

Late that night, the disciples were far from land. The wind was strong, and the waves were tossing their boat around.

Jesus came to them, walking on the water. The disciples were scared at first, but Jesus said, “Don’t be afraid. It’s Me!”

Peter stepped out of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. But when he looked at the waves, he became afraid and started sinking. Jesus reached out and saved him.

When Jesus and Peter got back into the boat, the wind stopped. The disciples worshipped Jesus and said, “Truly, You are the Son of God.”
