Jesus said, “I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”

He explained that a hired man runs away when danger comes, but the Good Shepherd stays to protect his flock.

Jesus said He knows each of His sheep by name, and they know His voice.

He told the people that He would give His life for His sheep so they could be safe forever.

Jesus is our Good Shepherd — He loves us, guides us, and never leaves us.
