I live in Cambridge New Zealand. My family lived in Darlington from 1952 until 1960 during which time, from the age of 5 years until 12 years, I attended your Church before moving to Scotland. I Googled my address in Greenwell Street & out of curiosity followed a well-worn path to the Church. I was delighted to see the spire. I remember it was called St George’s Presbyterian Church. The pews have been replaced but good to read the organ is still functioning. A wonderful accompaniment to the old hymns. Guitars now! Joined the Cubs then the Scouts. Mrs Nicholson, Mr Sunley were the respective leaders & Mr Davis the Reverend. Still attending Church. Hope Chapel when we lived in Hamilton, then Raleigh Street after moving to Cambridge. Both have podcasts on U-Tube which could be interesting for Worship Down-Under. Links Below. Viewing your Church brought back many happy memories.
